Explanation Of The Campaign In Differents Languages

"Yabang Pinoy" is een campagne om bewustzijn te verhogen en om de ethos van Filippijnse mensen, waardigheid en trots door het bepleiten van het gebruik van een stuk van gevlochten abaca band te verhogen die mikt om een verklaring te maken. De abaca band mikt te betekenen dat een Filippino die oprecht trots is om een te zijn. De band zal de natuurlijke vezel abaca gebruiken. Abaca is van de familie van Musacea die inheems naar de Filippijnen is. Het is belangrijk op te merken dat de Filippijnen de grootste bron van abaca vezel is. Abaca is gewoonlijk als de Manila hennep wereldwijd geweten. Het is ook als de sterkste natuurlijke vezel beschouwd. Abaca is een van onze hoogste exporten samen met suiker en tabak geweest. Sinds abaca is de sterkste natuurlijke vezel en uniek naar de Filippijnen, het mikt constant om Filippino's te herinneren dat wij taai, veerkrachtig en buitengewoon zijn.

“Yabang Pinoy” is a campaign to raise awareness and heighten Filipino people's ethos, dignity and pride by advocating the use of a piece of braided abaca band that aims to make a statement. The abaca band aims to signify a Filipino being truly proud to be one. The band will use the natural fiber abaca. Abaca belongs to the family of Musacea which is indigenous to the Philippines. It is important to note that the Philippines is the largest source of abaca fiber. Abaca is commonly known as the Manila hemp worldwide. It is also considered as the strongest natural fiber. Abaca used to be one of our top exports together with sugar and tobacco. Since abaca is the strongest natural fiber and unique to the Philippines, it aims to constantly remind Filipinos that we are tough, resilient and exceptional.

“Yabang Pinoy” is a project of Children's Environmental Awareness and Action Foundation (CEAAF) whose thrust is environmental education on the richness of biodiversity in the Philippines.
